Depending on who you ask, either Kelius or Karebos created Tale Endless and is credited with allowing life to live on it. Obviously, the Church of the Perfect Day tells the Kelius version, and the Church of Perfect Night that with Karebos.
Both legends share some similarities, though which one your character believes is up to you.

In the beginning, there was KAREBOS, who was very lonely. There was the earth, which he swam around endlessly but could not land on, and the moon, which was always out of reach. The moon, who sensed his sadness, promised to send her three daughters to help him carry out his duties of protecting the world, and keep him company.
The first arrived promptly, and looked like her mother when she was in full bloom. "My name is FULIDAE," she said. "My lord, I am at your service." And because she mimicked the sun, KAREBOS had her guard the sun.
Soon after the first daughter of the moon arrived came the second. She landed in front of him in a great leap, and announced proudly: "I am MORPHASE! My power is yours! Give me your greatest task!" Thus, KAREBOS had her watch over the many stars.
After the arrival of the first and second daughters of the moon, KAREBOS waited for a long time before the third arrived. The third looked like her mother in some respects, but also reminded him of the times when the moon turned her face away to sleep.
"Forgive me, my lord," she yawned pleasantly. "I lost my way. I am LUENU, and you may command me as you wish." And so that she would not lose herself in the great cosmos again, KAREBOS had her protect the earth.
Still, KAREBOS was lonely, and was beginning to tire of swimming over a barren earth. So, he began to scratch his scales. And the scales that fell became islands, and formed continents. The dust tickled his nose, and he began to sneeze, and the moisture made the seas. Finally, he used his own life force to create people, and he put those people on Tale Endless.
"My servants," he called out to FULIDAE, MORPHASE, and LUENU. "See the people I have made. Love them, as I do."
"Yes," said FULIDAE. "I will point the sun on them, and let them have light."
"Certainly!" said MORPHASE. "I will make sure the stars do not flee, so that they may use them to find their way!"
"Alright," yawned LUENU. "I shall teach them what they need to know."
"Very well," said KAREBOS. "Thank you for your aid."

Long ago, there was only the earth. There were the great cosmos beyond, but none could see what was there. The gods were proud of the earth they created, but none of them would admit that it was very boring there.
KELIUS was only a young whelp, but he knew that there were things beyond that could be of great help to the earth. So he swam, swam outwards, and began to travel the cosmos.
He found many things of beauty once he had left the earth, and wanted to bring them back for all the gods to see. But there were so many beautiful things he could not hold them all, so he began to look for servants to help him carry those beautiful things.
The first living thing he saw was a rabbit hopping on the sun. Being a dragon, the heat did not bother him, and he chased the rabbit until it did not run any more.
"You have bested me," said the rabbit. "I am FULIDAE. As your reward, I will follow you."
"Good," said KELIUS. "Carry the sun with you." And so it was.
The second living thing he found in the cosmos was another rabbit galloping amongst the stars. KELIUS challenged the rabbit to a duel. The rabbit was strong, and tried to outwit him, but he was stronger and cleverer.
"I have met my superior!" said the rabbit. "I am MORPHASE. Let me join you!"
"Very well," said KELIUS. "Hold all of these stars." And so it was.
The last living thing he found in the cosmos was a third rabbit, asleep on a white stone. He woke the rabbit by singing a song.
"What delightful music," said the rabbit. "I am LUENU. Will you teach me that song?"
"If you come with me, and take that stone with you," said KELIUS. And so it was.
KELIUS returned to the earth with his servants and the beautiful things he had found. He showed the gods what they had not seen when they were on the earth.
"These are very beautiful!" said the gods. "But we cannot possibly fit them all on the earth! Put them back where you found them."
KELIUS was disappointed that he could not keep all the beautiful things he had found for everyone to admire. The gods, sensing his sadness, gave him another task. "Light the earth," they asked, "so that we may see the beautiful things you have brought us, always."
And so KELIUS became the lord of the day. As a reward for their service, he gave his servants the white stone, which they used as their home.
