Certain things in Tale Endless aren't what they seem. However, most of the general public, and that includes your character, are ignorant. However, it's important to be informed, so that you're not completely blindsided when you discover that [x] is really [y] or that [z] is really some underground organization that is out to take over the world.
Keep in mind "your character" is assumed to be an ordinary trainer. Obviously if they're within the conspiracy, they would know what's really going on.
Ordinary characters will not figure this out immediately. You and your character are two separate people, and just because you're in the know doesn't mean they are.

What your character knows:
- Rhapsody is a company that manufactures all manner of Pokémon products, from equipment for trainers to Pokédolls and contest accessories. They also conduct research on various Pokémon and Ucci behaviors and release the results for public benefit. They don't seem to staff their stores or offices with many people, but that's because they're all in the headquarters in Cielan, which is closed to the public.
- Kelius and Karebos are two separate Ucci, and they are competing for power.
- Allegretto's restaurant serves good food on weekends.
What your character doesn't know:
- Rhapsody's motto of "Clear the dissonance in your life!" isn't idle banter, it's their mission in the world. However, the way they go about clearing "dissonance" is rather extreme - each product they have monitors the customer's usage, and that information is sent to the headquarters for analysis. If the customer meets their criteria for assonance, they are left alone. However, should the customer be found as dissonant, rest assured that that person will be taken care of. Rhapsody has a very efficient team of enforcers that can correct such things quickly and quietly - most often with "good vibration devices" that change behaviors with continued exposure. They may do so by hailing the trainer for a "needed update" in their software, for example.
While most of the research they publish seems innocent enough, some Rhapsody research centers conduct questionable research and sell that to people with even more questionable morals, such as Team Rocket. However, Rhapsody is well aware of what they are getting into, and of course...it is always in the sake of clearing dissonance. - Kelius and Karebos, while classified as two Ucci in Pokédexes, are really one and the same. Every twilight, it returns to its home to transform into the other. The competition between Kelius and Karebos became a part of the Perfect Day and Perfect Night sects because of the animosity between them.
- There is never good food in Al's restaurant. You're better off with a bag lunch.
